For premium members, Neutrily offers the ability to involve the primary customer’s partner (referred to as the Primary Partner) in co-parenting communication. This feature allows the Primary Partner to participate in communication seamlessly while ensuring the co-parent remains engaged with the service.
How It Works
- Receiving Messages
- The Primary Partner receives a copy of all emails and WhatsApp messages sent from Sam.
- This ensures they stay informed about all co-parenting communication without needing direct involvement from the co-parent.
- Sending Messages
- The Primary Partner can reply to emails or WhatsApp messages they receive from Sam.
- Replies from the Primary Partner will be sent to the co-parent as though they came from the Primary. Sam rewrites the message in the same neutral and constructive tone.
- To avoid confusion, we encourage the Primary Partner to sign off messages with the Primary’s name (e.g., "Best regards, [Primary’s Name]").
Why Messages Originate from the Primary
<aside>
🔄 Remember: All messages, whether from the Primary or Primary Partner, are sent by Sam, in Sam’s own words, to the co-parent or Primary, ensuring a consistent and neutral communication experience.

- Research shows that co-parents are more likely to engage with Neutrily when communication from Sam appears to have originated from the Primary rather than their partner.
- Introducing the Primary Partner in communication can sometimes be inflammatory, especially if the co-parent harbours negative feelings towards them. Keeping messages neutral and originating from the Primary fosters smoother interactions and reduces potential conflict.
Best Practices for the Partner Feature
- Follow the Guidelines: All the best practices outlined in our messaging guides apply to the Primary Partner as well.
- Keep Messages Professional: When responding, maintain a neutral tone and avoid emotional triggers.
- Sign Off Properly: Always sign off messages with the Primary’s name to ensure continuity and avoid misunderstandings with the co-parent.
A Seamless Experience for Co-Parents
This setup ensures that:
- The co-parent feels they are communicating directly with the Primary, but via Sam.
- The Primary Partner can stay involved and provide input without creating unnecessary tension.
- All communication remains streamlined and conflict-free, in line with Neutrily’s mission.
